WATERVIEW RECREATION RESERVE

Public BBQ

Waterview Recreation Reserve in Mernda combines sporting facilities with general recreational space across generous grounds. The cricket club maintains a solid reputation with quality surfaces drawing regular users through multiple seasons. Two cricket nets and a basketball court serve active visitors, while perimeter footpaths accommodate walkers and joggers seeking a circuit through the established greenery. The reserve functions primarily as a sporting venue rather than a destination park, offering that essential patch of maintained open space that newer suburbs need as they develop. Dog walkers appreciate the green expanse amongst the housing, and the facilities adequately support organized sport. For locals seeking convenient outdoor space within walking distance, the reserve delivers basic recreational infrastructure without pretense.
